I’m excited to introduce a bold new voice joining the lineup of authors featured on this site: Annie Knight Sinclair. Writing under her pen name, Annie specializes in what she unapologetically calls “nasty novellas”. Yes, they’re love stories—but not the soft-focus, flowers and roses kind. Her work is spicy enough that you definitely won’t want to leave it lying around for curious little eyes to see, and emotionally complex enough to feel uncomfortably real.

Annie doesn’t deal in fairy‑tale romances. There are no bouquets, no sweeping gestures, and absolutely no white knights galloping in to save the day. Instead, she dives into the shadows - those messy, tangled corners of modern relationships where good intentions twist, spark, and sometimes combust. Her stories explore how something that starts with promise can veer into darker, more unexpected territory, a reality many women today will recognize all too well.

Her first novella in the series, The Dark Romantic Misadventures of Annie Knight, has just been released—and “misadventures” couldn’t be more accurate. The opening installment, The Devil in the Blue House, sets the tone for everything that follows: Dark, seductive romances with teeth.
